Nuffield College at the University of Oxford intends to appoint, with effect from 1st September 2008, a number of Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellows (PPRFs).
This is a yearly occurring opportunity. Applications are invited from graduates of any country wishing to undertake research in any area of the social sciences except Economics, for which there is a separate competition. Social network analysis is one of the topics in which research is being done at Nuffield (e.g. by Peter Hedstrom and Tom Snijders).
Candidates should have their doctorate or be very close to completing it. Candidates should not have held similar fellowships for more than one year, nor have spent more than 8 years in postgraduate study and/or employment.
The deadline for applications is November 2, 2007.
